News and status report for the day..because I's bored this morning.
Alive- *checks pulse* Ayup..check
Awake-I'm on the computer so that's a check.
Employed- down check. In the non improving economy it gets less likely not more.
Active- I'm more active recently than I have been before so I suppose that counts as a check.
I put a new deadbolt in the front door Monday..the one that was in there froze up and the key wouldn't turn in the lock. I've decided to keep the old lock and..tinker with it to see if I can get it to work again.
Changed the oil in my lawnmower over the weekend. Minor stupid nitpick against self, I forgot to drain the gas tank before flipping it up and popping the plug..needless to say the mix of gas and oil...went everywhere but in the fracking oil pan. *sigh* Now I get to go up to Northern Tools and get a new airfilter to replace the still basically new [bought in february ]but now oil and gas soaked one. *headdesk, headdesk, headdesk*

stupid frackin software. the bar is down again. That's exceedingly annoying and alarmingly common nowadays. I am truly coming to hate the new bar software.

There was a story from reuters I found a little while ago. It was World Health Organization officials saying that the Tamiflu resistant strain of swine flu is nothing to be worried about. Its just a mutation. Move along nothing to see here....*headdesk, headdesk, headdesk* The unbelievable STUPIDITY, not to mention extreme arrogance in that statement just purely pisses me off. Helloooo..knock knock, anyone with a brain around? Its a mutation so nothing to worry about? I mean REALLY have these idiots studied their history? Last time this little bugger made an appearance it stuck its nose up, made some people sick then disappeared for a period of months. It THEN came back evolved to an even nastier version and killed people. If it evolved once it WILL evolve again. Its a living thing MORONS, and all living things evolve/change in one fashion or another over the course of their lives. That's why its called LIFE!

*sarcasm on* Now gentle readers if you'll excuse me I'm going to go look at my plans for burying my family in the backyard since there's "nothing to worry about, its just a mutation" *saracsm off*

Okay I gave you time to stop reading any further if you didn't want details. If you're still readin then on your own head be it.

Okay lets start with the back story the movie opens with. The transformers had been to earth before the story line of the original movie..about 17k years prior. There was a group of transformers called the Primes sent out to find sources of 'energon' the Source of energon is a solar systems sun. Only one problem with this..they've got to blow UP the sun to release the energy to create energon. The Primes were sent out to find suns to blow up with one caveat..if any of the planets held actual lifeforms..no blowey upey the sunny.. When the Primes visited earth 17k yrs ago one...a decepticon decided that rule didn't apply. the others stopped him. He went into exile/hiding after he was defeated and the other primes hid away the key to activate the sun destroying weapon. It was called the Matrix. Later correctly titled the 'Matrix of Leadership' near the end of the movie for all you fanboys out there. Part of the premise we find out after Megatron has been revived [because the decepticons steal the last remaining piece of the all spark cube from the first movie and use it to revive him...he then runs off to another planet [mars IIRC] and meets up with the EVIL Prime who sent him in the first place.. ...*sigh*

Sorry the story could have been a lot fucking better written IMHO. AT 2.5hrs the movie was a smidge long for the story told..they definitely could have done it in less. Anyway the story just gets more repetatively stupid from the last thing I mentioned. Lots of cool effects, new characters[some old ones introduced to a new generation of course] and many that flat out weren't named.. the bottom line is this..would I pay a $10 ticket price to see this one at the theatres again? Nope. I'd pay the matinee price but no the full one. I had some other nitpicks but I'll deal with those later with a further edit. right now...bed time.

Remember I said I was gonna lobotmize it? Uhmmm it apparently doesn't WANT to be lobotomized. I even went into the bios and set it to boot from the rom drive..no go. The damn thing has a mind of its own and/or is possessed. I frickin swear it is!

well...the Svid cable idea was a bust.. Oh wel. got the bitch hooked back into the 50 today. just to check messages. Looks like I get to lobotomize it. What the fuck are you waiting for!..you ask? uhm.....because I HATE the thought of having to reload all my ebooks, music, pics, drivers, etc etc on to the harddrive if it works? Hell I've got close to 15gigs just in music.[not much compared to alot of my friends out there I know but...damn the reload would take for fucking ever..

not licked yet. I've narrowed it down to its either the drivers for the monitor and the vid card clashing or the monitor [which is 2? yrs old maybe] is fried. which really chaps my ass. I'm able to be leaving you this message cuz the puter is hooked up to the 50" in the living room. [OMFG...NIRVANA!] If it turns out its the monitor itself, I'm gonna see about getting an svid cable and jacking this thing into my sisters TV. What a hell of a way to spend you birthday..bored, broke, horny and annoyed. Awwww..well.....fuck it. you only live once right?

I may not be on much this weekend if at all. My monitor is SERIOUSLY starting to piss me off. Its lasting a whopping 3 minutes before the problems start and at this point I'm pretty goddamn certain that its either the MOBO or the DRIVE..either that or there's something IN the drive. SO..I'm going to play with the piece of shit this weekend. Gonna see if I can't get it to behave. Barring anything else working I'm going to lobotomize the fucking drive and reinstall the OS. So..expect me when you see me.

In another unbelievably display that proves just how fucking stupid Americans are..Of the final four contestants..the sent home the one female left. Alison. and quite frankly for my money the most talented one on that stage. I pray that like Chris Daughtry who got robbed in the final competition during season 5; revenge will be sweet in that she'll come back and kick ass on the charts.

spend Saturday helping the neighbor with breaking concrete..with sledgehammers..went over about 1030-11 am gave up [myself] about 3. We took sunday off because it was *supposed* to rain. It ended up being a gorgeous frickin day. We started again about 930-10. I went over to help about 1030. I called it quits about 2. So I could cook up some lunch for us and get cleaned up. [I thought he was gonna quit too..but he's still at it.] We'll get back to it about 10am tomorrow together and have the rest of the breaking done by about 1130. then we get the unbridled joy of digging up the feed pipe that runs from pump to the skimmer. then we get to do the electrical conduit. fun fun fun. Hope to have the bulk of it finished this weekend so we can get a concrete truck in here by monday-tuesday and pour new slab. We shall see. We've also got to deal with a leak..so we're going to borrow a pump to keep the bulk of the water out and away from us [the pool is leaking. eventually have to have it replastered.] But tommorrow..breaking and digging.

Finished spackling the ever loving shit out of one wall in the garage, and got most of the sanding out done yesterday. In the next week or so need to get a new can of white paint and a roller. I know I should do the painting [when I get to it] with a brush but I'm lazy..I'll use the roller. Today fixed the exhaust/muffler on the mower, cut up the branches that fell during the storms in the wee hours yesterday before I woke up. I also discovered I need to sharpen the damn loppers again..*headshake* I got several bulbs that have been going wanting; including the ones in my bedroom, changed out. [let there be light! hallelujah!] Got the garage swept up for the most part, and sprayed febreeze in the blazer..it was smelling a little mildewy. Tomorrow as soon as I awake I'm planning on taking the blazer for an oil change. After that..I need to climb the roof and clip some branches hanging in my yard from the neighbor's tree. They sway in the wind and beat on the roof..I've had QUITE enough of that thank you. After that I may tear the garage apart again and trash more stuff. I need to get the 36" loaded up and dropped at the Salvation Army..tired of the space its taking up.

Well..I started a day early actually. I started celebrating yesterday. Let me go through how I spent the day worshipping...
First I used my gas powered 5hp mower [oooh evil fossil fuels!] and cut the grass all the while listening to the yard screaming in abject terror and pain. I then took out the weed eater and added insult to injury by edging the yard and listening to the dirt and grass moved by it scream. I then fired up my leaf blower and blew it all either into the yard or out in the street. [pollute pollute pollute!..hehehehehehee] I then wasted water and actually washed *gasp!* my fathers car, followed by drying it and using unenvironmentaly friendly chemicals to clean the windows. After that was done. I fired up my 4burner propane grill and spent 2 glorious hours sending smoke into the sky burning wood chips...for added flavor..and environnmental terror...and listening to the sound of various vegetables and pieces of animal flesh sizzle as they hit the hot grill. Smelled the glorious smell of various bits of vegetable matter and flesh charring on the grill. Sent [as aforementioned] glorious billows of smoke up into the sky..thereby pleasing the fire AND sky gods.
What got murdered on the grill you ask?I hall tell you..
a couple of 1/3lb burger patties, 2lbs or thereabouts of chicken fajita, another 2lbs or thereabouts of steak fajita meat, a couple of ears of corn[left in the husk and soaked first], 2 zuchin,[covered with EVOO and sprinkled with various spices, a half an onion and 3 bell peppers done the same as the zuchini.

I will continue in this vein tonight[in about 35minutes as a matter of fact]
I'm doing a nice little roast [about 2lbs..dry rubbed with various and sundry things] and a couple baked[read grilled] potatoes. In about 10mins I will be turning on the flames and putting on the woodchips to start screaming in abject pain and terror. *evil chuckle* followed by the simpering and sizzling of said roast and potatoes.

Hmm seeing as how I have to take my evil fossil fueled SUV and go grocery shopping tomorrow.. I may be inspired to get enough meat and edible things, that I can keep it up all week....hmmmm..a nice slowcooked brisquet for dinner on Sunday sounds like a slamdunk grand finale I think..[nom nom nom]

Ahhh meat is murder..TASTY, TASTY murder. nom nom nom nom *evil chuckle*

Hmmm maybe I should have titled this entry how I infuriated the eco-freaks? *shrug* oh well..calling me politcally correct is like putting a telephone in an outhouse..it'll leave you wondering..What the Hell?

ohhh..goody. god knows we needed a good soaking. however.....it can stop anytime now. It started raining yesterday afternoon, stopped for several hours then started again about 11. and it hasn't stopped at all since I awoke at 9 this morning. another 4-6 hrs and my neighborhood streets will likely be under water. The good news is I've looked at the local radar and with any luck it should cease and desist in about another 2hrs give or take. The rest of the week promises to be frickin gorgeous.

We JUST replaced the washing machine. Now my mom just came in and said the dryer don't wanna work. I appreciate irony as much as the next guy but..damn! The irony being I need to do my laundry today and we just spent money working on the garden this weekend. This is the second time I've needed to clear out a weeks worth of piled up laundry and one of the machines crapped out.

Mother decided to wait on the mulch.[oh grand..since I already bought it] she's also decided that the dead area in front of the garden isn't getting seed and fertilizer. Nope, it gets paving stones to make a sitting area for a covered swing. Which brings the question to my mind of where the fuck we gonna put it if a hurricane comes but *shrug* Whats really funny? is I bought one of those 2cu ft bags of potting soil for like 9 bucks? mom saw it when I brought it home the other day and said "You didn't need to get THAT much." Guess what? we used the ENTIRE bag.*snerk* and that was just in the part of the garden in front of my window along the front of the house. She went a little nuts buying plants this morning so its a good thing I had the foresight to get that bloody big bag instead of one of the little bitty ones. Still gotta do a raised bed on the side of the house. Now aren't I glad I bought new garden border and put it in the garden on the side of the house? Yep. Tomorrow gotta take the old mans car and get the oil changed in the morning. I'll see about uploading pics later.

At least part of a day of it will be spent helping my mother. Putting new plants into the garden and putting down mulch. I also want to put a partial border in around the one side of the yard, so I can break up the dead soil and drop in a bunch of fresh soil, seed and fertilizer to get the grass growing in that area again. But the latter half of those plans depends on how much money is left after payin the bills

are not predisposed to make me a happy wolfie. If my hair was long enuff I'd be pulling it out in frustration right now. As it is I find myself contemplating making a new ventilation opening in the wall..with my head.
